Although Boduan covers quite a large area the houses, farms and other buildings are widely scattered and the area is totally unspoilt. Pwllheli is the capital town of the Lleyn and is approximately 5 miles along the A497. Taking this road in the other direction brings you to Nefyn, also approximately 5 miles. There are numerous beaches within easy reach, the nearest being Porth Dinllaen – the location for Demi Moore’s recent movie ‘Half Light’ – a lovely place to visit and you can enjoy a drink at the pub on the beach! Criccieth Castle is a 20 minute drive, the Italianesque village of Portmeirion is just 30 minutes away and the popular holiday resort of Llandudno can be reached in about 70 minutes. The Lleyn is a very popular holiday destination and property is always in high demand – particularly as second or holiday homes. The area boasts many superb golf courses and the list of things to do and places to visit is endless.
