There are plenty of fun, challenging and rewarding activities around the Llŷn peninsula. Scenic coastal cruises sail from Pwllheli around the stunning coast of the Llŷn to Bardsey Island, allowing you to follow the pilgrims trail over land and sea with dolphins swimming alongside if you're lucky. Cycling and walking provide a great day out on peaceful lanes and tracks, visiting the quiet coves, sandy beaches and breath-taking views. The 91 mile Llŷn Coastal path is spectacular and not to be missed. You can book a Steam train ride up Snowdon Mountain or try kayaking and enjoy a gentle journey taking in the sights and sounds of the coastline or, if conditions permit, seek out some waves for a super-charged surf session. There are also several golf courses, with the famous Nefyn and District championship course just 5 minutes drive from the cottage.
