A church has stood on this site since 595 AD. The present Grade II Listed Building was built in 1765 and then extensively rebuilt between 1890 and 1894. Of Helsby/Runcorn sandstone construction it is particularly unusual in North Wales, where granite is the norm.
“The Church was deconsecrated in 1991 and stood unused and forgotten until I bought it in 2002. After 2 years of repairs, restoration and redecoration I opened the building as The Buan Centre; a venue for exhibitions, fetes and concerts, etc. The acoustics within the building are superb and several cd recordings were made of the concerts. The Buan Centre proved very successful, however due to personal circumstances I had to close it in late 2006 and I am now offering this beautiful building for sale.”
